PERMACULTURE DESIGN
Introduction to the Theory
Permaculture design is about practical ecological strategies for land,
water, buildings, people and communities. It is based on the
philosophy of co-operating with nature and caring for the earth and
its peoples.
This is a 12-hour course, offering information about the basics of
Permaculture design. We will cover sustainable development in all
walks of life – housing and land use, local economy, energy use and
organic food production. It will include looking at ethics and
principles of Permaculture and practical activities. It raises
questions about how sustainability can be applied to people's own
individual circumstance.
