Time to haul down the butchers apron

We must haul down the Union Jack and break with the blood stained British state.
An independent, democratic Scottish republic can be a beacon of hope for the millions across the globe searching another path delivering social justice, environmental sustainability and an end to war.
Political independence is a vital first step to shaping a new economic and social road for Scotland which harnesses our vast natural resources and human skills for people not profit. Such a path will energise the Scots and would bring new hope to people all across the planet
The 1707 Union is major roadblock in the path of such an approach which empowers big business and it faithful suited servants in Holyrood and Westminster.
It’s long beyond time the union was ended. 300 years are long enough
