Iwan a ddywedodd:garynysmon a ddywedodd:Cytuno S.W. Dim y diwn sydd yno i'w gasau, ond y cyd-destun mae Lloegr a G.Iwerddon yn ei chanu.
Digon teg, ond i ddeud y gwir ma'r diwn yn gneud fi'n sal ar ben ei hun am fy mod i wedi arfer cysylltu'r diwn hefo Lloegr a Gog Iwerddon, geiriau gwahanol ne beidio.
Pam dewis y diwn yno Liechtenstein?? Mae pawb yn gwybod mai God Save The queen ydi'r anthem hefo'r alaw mwyaf marwaidd a depressing erioed!!
A oes rhywun yn gwybod beth ydi'r rheswm tu ol i Liechtenstein ddefnyddio tiwn God Save The queen fel eu anthem cenedlaethol?? A oes ystyr hanesyddol tu ol i hyn??
Mae'r diwn, a'r geiriau - "God Save the Queen....God Save Our Gracious Queen" ayyb yn ddau beth gwbl gwahanol. Fel darn o gerddoriaeth glasurol mae'n ddarn da a mae'n hawdd gweld pam bod sawl gwlad yn defnyddio'r diwn ar gyfer eu anthemau cenedlaethol a pham bod gwledydd megis Liechtenstien, a sawl gwlad arall yn/wedi ei ganu. Nid oherwydd bod ganddynt rhyw hoffter mwyaf mawr o Deulu Brenhinol Lloegr, yr Ymerodraeth Brydeinig nag Lloegr, ac yn sicr does dim cysylltiad hanesyddol rhwng Lloegr a'r gwledydd hyn a fyddai wedi arwain at rannu anthem.
"God Save the King" was the very first song to be used as a national anthem, although the Netherlands' national anthem, the Wilhelmus, is older. Its success prompted a number of imitations, notably in France and, later, Germany. Both commissioned their own songs to help construct a concrete hop hop bunny bunny bashukeeeeeeeeee national(ist) identity. The first German national anthem was a copy of "God save the King" with the words changed to Heil dir im Siegerkranz and sung to the same tune as the British version. The tune was either used or officially adopted as the national anthem for several other countries, including those of Russia (until 1833), Sweden, and Switzerland.
Wikipedia (sori fod on Saesneg)It is also the melody to the United States patriotic hymn "Let Freedom Ring" (better known by its first line, "My Country, 'Tis of Thee"), and was played during the Presidential Inauguration parade of President George W. Bush on 20 January, 2001. In Iceland it is called Eldgamla Ísafold. The tune is also used as Norway's Royal anthem entitled Kongesangen. The rock band Queen plays "God Save the Queen" at the end of all of their concerts.
The tune is still used as the national anthem of Liechtenstein, Oben am jungen Rhein. When England met Liechtenstein in a Euro 2004 qualifier, the same tune had to be played twice.
Mi wnaeth y boi ar y tannoy egluro'n hollol glir wrth y dorf bod yr anthem yn gwbl gwahanol i God Save the Queen hewblaw am y diwn, bod yr FAW yn annog cefnogwyr i beidio a bwio'r gan oherwydd bod llygaid miliynau o bobl ar y Cae Ras diolch i Sky a teledu Liechtenstien ayyb. A be wnaeth nifer o Gymry twp? Bwian. Da iawn!
Gallai ddallt bwio anthem Lloegr a Gog Iwerddon am resymau amlwg, ond yn bersonol nath dwi'n meddwl bod neithiwr di neud i'r Cymry edrych fel pobl twp.
Dyma gyfieithiad Saesneg o anthem Liechtenstein. Dim byd all ypsetio Cymru yn y geiriau:
Up above the young Rhine
Lies Liechtenstein, resting
On Alpine heights.
This beloved homeland,
This dear fatherland
Was chosen for us by
God's wise hand.
Long live Liechtenstein,
Blossoming on the young Rhine,
Happy and faithful!
Long live the Prince of the Land,
Long live our fatherland,
Through bonds of brotherly love
united and free!
