Be ffwc ma'r Alan na'n ddeud?

A handy new guide as to which Welsh groups are ideologically unsound (and who you may care to boycott) comes this week in the form of a double CD benefit album for Cymuned. As would be expected with such a venture, the vast majority of the 37 tracks are by talentless no-names desperate for any publicity they can get. However lurking amongst them are a handful of better known acts who most certainly should know better. Some of those more likely to have found their way inadvertently into your record collections include MC Mabon, Pep Le Pew, Celt, Bob Delyn A'r Ebillion, Tystion, Anweledig, Meic Stevens and most bizarrely, Samba Bangor.

I'm not suggesting that all of these people are evil fascists, but the ones who are not must certainly be either very stupid or of extremely unsound judgement to associate themselves with such a repellent organisation. As some of these culprits seem pretty decent and likeable people, I can only assume the latter to be the case (or quite possibly they were not told who they were donating tracks to - surely the only explanation for the presence of Samba Bangor).
In the real scheme of things, these people are perhaps not on the level of Adolph Eichmann or Heinrich Himmler, or even a lowly gas-chamber operative, but they certainly are the equivalent of the "ordinary people" who painted the yellow stars on the doors. This kind of thing has no place in rock'n'roll (or anywhere else) and must be stopped
